Here is some more information.
I was born in Iran but lived in Dubai, UAE my whole life before moving to the US for Uni.
In my family consisted of my sister my dad mom and me. Sometimes my grandfather used to come and visit us for a few months. We were a happy family, we tried to go out together onec a week. They supported me through all my choices. Because there were lack of opportunities in dubai I tried to spend my time doing sport extracurriculur activities such as tennis, soccer guitar and swimming. My grandfather actually taught me how to play ping pong. Every summer I used to go to Iran because thats where my other family members were such as my grandmothers, uncles and aunts. I had a big family my dad has 10 brother and sister my great grandfather is still alive. And there is a generation gap as my mom\’s cousin are my age.
I went to a small school where there were only 500 students from kindergarden to the 12th grade, in my 12th grade there were only 7 students. Because it was a small school everyone got to know each other and a family quality was formed and school actually did become a home away from home. I made huge number of friends from both school and soocer clubs I was apart of. Once a week or two my friends and I would meet up at a mall, eat pizza hut sitting on the same seats, walk around talk and maybe watch a movie. I learned that family and friends are the most important things in this world. Whether your poor or rich life wont be fun with them.
