It was my role to guide the social workers in making the most effective and efficient decisions in reference to the best interest of the child. Nonetheless, it was for the most part heartbreaking to split families up but as a social worker you have that ethical obligation. From your perspective, what do you think would be the hardest for you to work with and why (physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, educational neglect, or physical neglect?) Have you ever noticed a situation in which you thought a child was being abused or neglected and wanted to say something but didn\’t? What held you back from jumping in on the situation?
